Moffat Firming Project DEIS – Comments Due March 17
Time is running out to make your voice heard regarding the future of the Fraser River and the effects of the proposed Denver Water Board Firming Project. Written comments are necessary for your opinion to count. There are several sources where you can get information regarding the project and many different opinions. The Winter Park-Fraser Valley Chamber of Commerce encourages all local citizens to be educated on the subject and make comments on the project.

Here are some sources of information to help you write your letter:

Spring Ski Free Promotion Ready to Launch- Really, Truly

The Chamber and Winter Park Resort are teaming up to drive some late season business to your doors. We will be offering a Spring Ski Free Promotion for April! The promotion will be available to guests April 1- 18. When guests book two nights lodging they will receive two free lift tickets. They can receive one additional ticket for each additional night of lodging booked.

There is a solid promotional campaign ready to launch March 8 in the Front Range media markets. Your tool box is in the Marketing Section of the newsletter and will be sent again this week with graphics, email template and postcard graphic. Community Connection Scholarship: KCMV 106.3 Colorado’s Mountain Voice is awarding HS seniors $1,063 each month through May for community service work. Nature Valley Nastar Nationals March 23-28 at Winter Park Resort.  Contact 970.726.1564 or 970.726.1590.  The world's largest recreational ski and snowboard race program is at Winter Park Resort in 2010 for the Nature Valley NASTAR Nationals!  Racers qualify for the Nature Valley NASTAR National Championships by earning a top-three ranking in their age division at any of the 120+ Nature Valley NASTAR ski resorts throughout North America. In 2009, competitors age 3 to 90 from 43 states as well as Canada, Australia, Chile and England competed in age and gender categories in alpine, telemark, snowboard & physically challenged categories for the chance to win a National Title.
